Description	:	Son of Albert & Louisa (Schneider) Kummer. He attended District #37 school and graduated from Monroe High School. He married Esther Benning on September 19, 1951 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Shell Creek. A life long resident of Platte County, Paul was a grain and beef farmer, where the farm has been in the family for over 100 years. A life long resident of Platte County, Paul was a grain and beef farmer, where the farm has been in the family for over 100 years. Paul was active in many groups and organizations and had served on many boards and committees including the following: District #73 School Board, Board Member of G & T, Cornhusker Public Power, Platte County Agricultural Society, Platte County Feeders, Platte County Extension Board, NRA, Platte County Weed District and was a substitute Postal Carrier. Paul served nine years with the National Guard. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served as an usher for many years. Paul was also sexton for the Gruetli Cemetery. Paul enjoyed reading, loved farming and especially loved his family. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
