He was born in Kenton on February 26, 1940 the son of the late Francis and Estella Marie (Wallace) Scott. On August 12, 1977 he married Judy Biederman and she survives. Paul is also survived by his sons Robert Paul (Caroline) Ray of Brookville, OH, Timothy Eugene (Kathy) Ray of West Mansfield, OH, Todd Mickael Ray (fiance' Tonya Howe) of Kenton, and Brandon Manns of Kenton; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; a brother Gerald (Connie) Scott of Kenton; and... Paul is also survived by his sons Robert Paul (Caroline) Ray of Brookville, OH, Timothy Eugene (Kathy) Ray of West Mansfield, OH, Todd Mickael Ray (fiance' Tonya Howe) of Kenton, and Brandon Manns of Kenton; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; a brother Gerald (Connie) Scott of Kenton; and sisters Norma Jean (Paul) Newland of Kenton, Martha Adkins of Kenton, Beatrice (Joe) Thompson of Tipp City, OH, Sharon Lowery of Grant, OH, and Judy (Mike) Smith of Beavercreek, OH. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He then was a Shipping Clerk at Universal Co-Op in Kenton retiring after over 30 years of working. He was a life member of the Kenton Amvets Post 1994 and a member of the Kenton Eagles Lodge 2163. He enjoyed camping and fishing along with building bird houses in his free time. Funeral services for Paul Leroy Scott will be held Wednesday June 28, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the SCHINDEWOLF STOUT CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton with Rev. Robert Paul Ray officiating. Burial will follow the service in Otterbein Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by the Kenton Amvets Post 1994 Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 12:00 noon Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the donors choice.
