The deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Parker, two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday at 10 o’clock. Rev. S. Interment will be made in the Shaul cemetery. ---------------------------------------- Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” Wednesday, April 5, 1911: Paul Lynch, the 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Parker, was born at Carrollton, Mo., September 17, 1896. Died at the home of his parents, 801 Queen Ann avenue, March 29, 1911 [sic], aged 14 years, 6 months and 10 days. At the age of 4 years he came with his parents to Ottumwa where he resided until death called him home. Paul was a most patient sufferer. During his ten weeks of sickness and torturing pain not a murmur or word of complaint escaping his lips. When asked how he felt he always replied that he was doing quite well or he was feeling better. He was much devoted to his parents, and will be greatly missed by them. He was especially kind towards and considerate of the welfare of his brothers and sisters, sacrificing self-interests for their good. He was a member of E.B. Criley’s Sunday school class of the Davis Street Christian church and was one of its most faithful attendants. Funeral services were conducted from the parent’s residence Saturday, March 25, at 10 a.m. Rev. S. Isaac Elder officiating. The large number of floral contributions were an expression of the love and esteem in which he was held by those who knew him. Interment was made in the Shaul cemetery. Contributed
