Description	:	Paul Tait Paul M. Tait, 73, of 817 Custer Ave., a retired railroad postal clerk, died Thursday at his home. He had been in failing health. He moved from Flaxton, N.D., to Billings in 1943 and was retired in 1962. His family moved to Forsyth when he was 12 years old. Mr. Tait was born Feb. 27, 1900, in Clarkdale, Iowa, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tait. He married Alice Walker on Nov. 6, 1928, in Hardin. Tait, 73, of 817 Custer Ave., a retired railroad postal clerk, died Thursday at his home. He had been in failing health. He moved from Flaxton, N.D., to Billings in 1943 and was retired in 1962. His family moved to Forsyth when he was 12 years old. Mr. Tait was born Feb. 27, 1900, in Clarkdale, Iowa, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tait. He married Alice Walker on Nov. 6, 1928, in Hardin. After graduating from Howard High School, near Forsyth, he was in the Army until 1919, ; then attended Wesleyan College in Helena. He worked in the Butte mines, as a surveyor during the building of Ft. Peck Dam and became a postal department employee in Spokane. Survivors include the widow; two sons, Clyde M. of Virginia Beach, Va., and Paul W. Tait of 806 East Bradford Square; a daughter, Mrs. John Ostwald of Grand Forks, N.D.; three brothers, Thomas of Grants Pass, Ore., Fred of Ventura, Calif., and Howard of Forsyth; a sister, Mrs. John Spannagel of Forsyth; 12 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
