Description	:	Paul Mead Hunt Jr., 88, of New Market, Va., passed away at his home April 8, 2012, after an extended illness. He was born July 24, 1923, in Washington, D.C., son of the late Paul Mead Hunt and Alma Sullivan Hunt. He graduated from Gonzaga College High School in 1940; attended Virginia Tech and graduated in 1944 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. Read More	Paul Mead Hunt Jr., 88, of New Market, Va., passed away at his home April 8, 2012, after an extended illness. He was born July 24, 1923, in Washington, D.C., son of the late Paul Mead Hunt and Alma Sullivan Hunt. He graduated from Gonzaga College High School in 1940; attended Virginia Tech and graduated in 1944 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He was a member of the Cadet Corps and played baseball in college. After graduating, he served two years in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years for the construction firm of Banks & Lee Inc., starting as a timekeeper in the field and ending in the main office arranging financing for large construction projects. The love of his life was fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. His love of fishing has been passed down to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Ruritan Club. He is survived by his second wife, seven children, 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; a stepdaughter, two step-grandchildren; a niece, and a cousin. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dolores Doolan of Dayton, Ohio; his first wife, Beatrice M. Henderson; and his youngest son, Daniel Vincent Hunt who died at the age of 19 in a boating accident. Private services will take place Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 S. Royal St., Alexandria, Va., followed by graveside services at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Road, Fairfax, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
