Description	:	Paul Olin Lawson, age 78, a man that loved God, his country, his church and his family, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born in Union, November 4, 1938, a son of the late Paul Alfred Lawson and Christine Billings Lawson; husband of Lillie Faye Tucker Lawson. A 1957 graduate of Union High School and a devoted member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where he served on the Homebound Committee. Born in Union, November 4, 1938, a son of the late Paul Alfred Lawson and Christine Billings Lawson; husband of Lillie Faye Tucker Lawson. Surviving in addition to his wife is two daughters, Christy Roche (Kenny) of Maryland and Angel Wilson (Jared) of Laurens; a sister, Blanche Gwinn of Pauline; a grandchild, Tanner Roche of Maryland; special grandchildren, Oakley Wilson of Laurens, Austin Tucker and Amberlynn Tucker both of Pauline. Mr. Lawson was predeceased by a brother, Herman Lawson and a sister, Frances Gowan. Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Monday, February 27, 2107 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Melvin Shelton. Burial with military honors, followed in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jared Wilson, Otis Hembree, Ray House, Johnny Kimbrell, Andy Tucker, Don Tucker, Dean Tucker and Wayne Lawson. Members of the Senior Adult Class at Mt. Lebanon Baptist church were asked to sit in a group. Visitation was held Sunday, February 26, 2017t from 6:30-8:30 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials could be made to Mt.
