Read More	SAULNIER Paul Parker -71, of Pinkney’s Point, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away on July 3, 2013 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Pinkney’s Point on June 27, 1942 he was a son of the late Parker and Matilda Saulnier. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved his family dearly and was also a great friend to everyone. He was a jack of all trades and worked many jobs throughout his life, but none brought him the amount of joy as driving the school bus for 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, camping in Quinan and always looked forward to the annual ATV Association bike rally. Paul was a volunteer fire chief for the Pinkney’s Point Fire Department for many years and was known to be an avid community volunteer who took pride in his community. In his spare time Paul loved to play cards or go for a drive while listening to CIFA Radio. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Ida (Muise), Pinkney’s Point; daughters, Annette (Michael) Boutilier, Halifax; Dianne (Robert) Grant, Arcadia; Karen (Donnie) Smith, Yarmouth; sons, David ( Monica), Pleasant Lake; Stephen, Pinkney’s Point; sisters, Shirley (Ernest) Robichaud, Bridgewater; Rose (Anthony) Crowell, Bear Point; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, David John; and sister, Rose Marie. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 8 at 2 p.m. from Saint Raphael’s Catholic Church with Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment will follow in the Saint Raphael’s Parish Cemetery. A reception will follow in the community hall, all are welcomed. Family flowers only please. Donations in Paul’s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
