Description	:	Paul Senger, 69, Mandan, formerly of Edgeley, died Aug. 16, 2001, in a Mandan care center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, with the Rev. Duaine Cote officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley. Visitation will continue from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the church, followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m., and will continue Monday for one hour prior to services at the church. Paul was born Aug. 26, 1931, on the family farm near Hague, the son of John and Frances (Kelsch) Senger. He was raised in Edgeley and graduated from Edgeley High School in 1949. Paul was a member of the North Dakota National Guard in Edgeley and served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1952. Upon his discharge in 1952 he returned to Edgeley. Paul married Frances Hilzendeger on Oct. 5, 1953, at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Edgeley. They farmed near Edgeley until 1969. He then was employed as a truck driver for Melroe Co. until he retired in 1990 after 22 years. Paul had a great love for old-time music. He played in a band called the "Four Spots" for 42 years as an accordionist and organist. He is survived by his wife, Frances; a son, James (Paulette), Bismarck; four daughters, Patty (H. Dean) Johnson, Valley City, Karen (Tony) Geiger, Bismarck, Jeanie (John) Walters, Mandan, and Shari (Eric) Burke, Shakopee, Minn.; seven grandchildren; and his twin sister, Pauline Sander, Coon Rapids, Minn.
