Description	:	Paul S. Leininger, age 81, of Wauseon, passed away Wednesday evening, September 15, 2010 at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. He had worked at the former Wauseon Foundry for 29 years. Mr. Leininger was born in Ottokee, Ohio on January 31, 1929, the son of the late Oliver and the late Fannie (Kline) Leininger. On January 1, 1950 he married Donna Mae Betson, and she survives. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon. Paul had served in the U.S. Army from 1948 – 1951. Mr. Leininger was born in Ottokee, Ohio on January 31, 1929, the son of the late Oliver and the late Fannie (Kline) Leininger. On January 1, 1950 he married Donna Mae Betson, and she survives. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon. Paul had served in the U.S. Army from 1948 – 1951. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #265. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife, Donna, are his children, Ken (Deb) Leininger, Cindy (Mike) Wallischeck, Rick (Lori Schrock) Leininger, and Julie (Ron) Shehorn, all of Wauseon; eight grandchildren, Cara (AJ) Augustyniak, Gregg Leininger, Mark (Alexse) Wallischeck, Jordan (Jackie Wotring) Wallischeck, Stacie (Chris Kessler) Leininger, Sarah Leininger, Karlee Shehorn, and Kyle Shehorn; and five great-grandchildren, Avah, Norah and Lylah Wallischeck, Austin Kessler, and Taylor Fulton. He is also survived by his loyal companion, Tigger, his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Don, Oliver, Jr., Galen and Otis Leininger, and one sister, Shirley Leininger. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 20, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon, with Pastor Tim Sonneberg and Pastor Jen Herrmann, officiating. Interment will follow in the Pettisville Cemetery, where Military Rites will be accorded by the Fulton County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
