Description	:	PAUL WESLEY ROWLAND May 13, 1918-May 26, 1933 Westley Rowland, 16 year old son of F. E. Rowland of Alexandria, was drowned about 2:30 p.m. on Friday of last week at a swimming hole known as the GIn Bluff, near Liberty. The young man, who was a Sophmore in the Alexandria HIgh School, had been on a picnic with several of his friends and teachers, and on their return four of the boys stopped for a swim. The older boys, becoming excited, went to Alexandria for help, and after returning in about 45 minutes later, young Rowland's body was dragged from the bottom of the river, by Tom Overall, of Liberty. p.m. at Alexandria. HE is survived by his parents and one sister. 6-02-1933
