Read More	Paula Marguerite Lizzie Hans was born on January 31, 1925, in Seward to Carl H. and Frieda (Gehle) Hodde Jr. and passed away on May 26, 2014, in Lincoln, NE; at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 26 days. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school. On January 8, 1956, Paula married Harold William Hans at St. Paul Evangelical Church. Paula worked at the Ben Franklin store for several years. Then became a stay at home mom to her children and helped Harold on the farm. The couple farmed in the Milford area until 1971, when they moved into Milford. Paula worked at Crestview Nursing Home for 17 years before she retired. She enjoyed baking, cleaning and visiting with friends and family. She also loved listening to Big Red Football on the radio. Paula was a life member of Faith Lutheran Church. Paula is survived by her children, David Hans and wife Tammy Tyler of Denton, NE; and Jane Hans of Lincoln, NE; daughter-in-law Belle Johnson of Seward, NE and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold on October 4, 1994, son Gary Hodde on April 9, 2009, two sisters Velma and Lois Hodde, brother and sister-in-law Edgar and Genny Hodde, three brothers-in-laws and their spouses Arnold and Louise Hans, Chester and Gertrude Hans, Herbert Hans, two sisters-in-law and spouse Ruth Hans, Helen and Elmer Johnson. to this obituary we add our thoughts, prayers and memories of life shared with Paula.
