Description	:	It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, PAULA JEAN PITTMAN, wife of the late George Pittman on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Stirling on Friday, May 20th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be Saturday, May 21st at 12:00 p.m. at the Warner Cemetery with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Stirling Chapel. Read More	It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, PAULA JEAN PITTMAN, wife of the late George Pittman on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Stirling on Friday, May 20th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be Saturday, May 21st at 12:00 p.m. at the Warner Cemetery with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Stirling Chapel. Paula was born the youngest of 9 children to Joseph and Nora Snow in Raymond, Alberta on March 27, 1930. Her childhood was spent on the Snow Ranch west of Milk River where she loved to roam the hills behind the house finding pussy willows and crocuses in the spring. She lived all her married life in Warner and was active in the community, helping at the ice arena and serving others. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities there as well. She was devoted to her family and made it her lifeâ€™s work to be sure her children had every opportunity in life, including church, missions, sports, music and a quality education. She was very creative, loved to read, sew, decorate, sing and make delicious food. Her family was her treasure. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her six children: Diana (Paul) Melnyk and her children Christina, Austin and Alisha of Red Deer; Marcey (Larry) Low of Barrhead; Cam (Angela) and their daughter Chloe and Camâ€™s sons Cameron Jr. and Collin, of Murrieta, California; Brad (Kara), their daughter Maren and Bradâ€™s son Clay of Defiance, Ohio; Curt (Kristen) and their daughter Jordan of Calgary; Tyler (Jill) and their children Jarett, Zachary, Cole, Gavin and Lily of Bryan, Ohio; sister Lillian Brittner and sisters-in-law Grace Snow and Jessie Snow all of Milk River. Dementia began to take her away from us 20 years ago and it has been a long and difficult journey, particularly during the past 6 years. In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the Alzheimer Society of Lethbridge, 402-740-4 Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB T1J 0N9, or the L.D.S. Church Perpetual Education Fund.
