From those records, her father Wilhelm Holz was buried there but no stone b 22 Nov 1811 d 15 Apr 1893 Also: 1872 Pauline Holz 22 immigrated with parents William and Wilhemine 1880 Pauline Holtz 30 is living with dad, William. 1900 South Branch Pierce NE has Pauline Holz Mar 1850 living with Herman and Henrietta Weich called sister in law 1910 South Branch Pierce NE has Pauline Holz 60 living with Herman and Henrietta Weich called sister in law with August's family near by and Ida Kieke nee Stuck with her mother Wilhelmine and brother Herman Stuck 1920 Norfolk Census has Pauline Holz 69 living with Herman and Henrietta Weich called sister. 1930 Norfolk Census has Pauline Holz 80 is living with a Oscar Schaffersman 34 and Dorothy 31 indicated as Aunt 80. A few houses down Herman Weich (widowed, wife was Henrietta Holz, Pauline's sister) is living with son August with his son Henry next door. Paulina Holz was identified as deaf mute. 1859 is not correct on her stone as her immigration ship records and the 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 census all indicate she was born ten years earlier and her name was spelled Holz in all these records as well except 1880 where it was Holtz. Contributor: Del Hamm Miss Pauline Holtz, 82, died 11:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of her nephew August Weich in Norfolk. She was born March 3, 1859 at Wismer, Pomerania, Germany. She came to America in 1872 with her parents and was in Wisconsin for 3 years. Then they moved to Norfolk. "Since the death of her parents she has made her home with her brother-in-law Herman Weich, and later at the home of her nephew." The funeral will be held Sunday. She was survived by nieces and nephews and they are August and Herman Weich, Mrs. Julius Drews, Mrs. Frank Winter, Herman, Gustav and Fred Schwede, Mrs. William Kiepke, and Mrs. Herman Gall.
