Description	:	Pauline A. Tackett, age 56, of Springdale, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 16, 1974 at home. She was born June 9, 1918 at Wyola, Arkansas, the daughter of William Sherman and Mary Francis (Kinion) Paschal. She was the seventh of ten children in her family. Her father raised cattle and vegetables, and had a country grocery store with a gas pump, next to the family home. Tackett, age 56, of Springdale, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 16, 1974 at home. She was born June 9, 1918 at Wyola, Arkansas, the daughter of William Sherman and Mary Francis (Kinion) Paschal. She was the seventh of ten children in her family. Her father raised cattle and vegetables, and had a country grocery store with a gas pump, next to the family home. He was also the Postmaster of the Post office that was in the store from 1915 through 1928. He had a blacksmith shop and a saw mill and a couple of trucks to carry his goods as well as for the community. Their house and store were always busy. Their home was in the Whitehouse community, which had a two room school, and she and her siblings, with the exception of her older brother, had eight years of schooling. She and Leo Stout were married on December 2, 1935, and they had one child. Leo died of injuries received in a vehicle accident in August 1938. She and Otha Tackett were married on October 14, 1939, and together they had four children. She and her husband were pastors of several churches, including Brentwood Community Church, Durham Community Church, Round Mountain Community Church, North Side Assembly of God, Peeples Church, and Pentecostal Temple church, all in Fayetteville or the surrounding area. She was preceded in death by her father; her first husband; a four month old daughter, Paulette Tackett; an infant granddaughter; and an infant brother, Sidney Paschal. She is survived by her mother of the Whitehouse community; her husband of 34 years, Otha Tackett; two sons, Zachary Tackett, of the home, and James Tackett (and wife, Wanda) of Fayetteville; two daughters, Virginia Vaughn (and husband, Glenn), and Joyce Miller (and husband, Charles) both of Springdale; two brothers, Vance Paschal (and wife, Bonnie) of Hazel Valley, and Randol Paschal (and wife, Lena) of Springdale; five sisters, Carmel Hodge of Coal Hill, Ermel Nolf of the Whitehouse community, Gladys Osborn (and husband, Leo) of Brentwood, Jimmie Watkins (and husband, Lawrence) of Greenland, and Louise Olp (and husband, Walter) of LaGrande, Oregon; a half-sister, Grace Jones Jarrell (and husband, George) of Forest Grove, Oregon; and eight grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 1974 in Nelson's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville. A second Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 1974 at the Whitehouse Community Church. Burial will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
