After a long journey from Vienna, Austria, to Kearney, Paula and Martha Axmann, daughters of Joseph Axmann, of Sartoria, arrived in Kearney yesterday to join their father whom they have not seen in several years, in fact, not since he left them to come to America. Miss Pauline Axmann of Amherst, and Mr. Potter Mays, of Odessa, were married at the opera house Thursday evening, during an intermission in the Elks annual minstrel show, the performance being witnessed by nearly twelve hundred people. Justice of the Peace Hugh Drake performed the wedding ceremony. Elanore Maddux acted as maid of honor, Patsy Smith was ring bearer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
