Description	:	CLINTON — Pauline Cecelia Durgin, 92, of Clinton passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at the Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday from noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pauline was born Jan. 2, 1922, near Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of John Wolfe and Lena (Northrup) Wolfe. She was the youngest of 10 children. She married James Kindstrom Durgin, also of Anamosa, at the Church of All Nations on Sept. 9, 1943, in New York City. Pauline and Jim moved to Clinton in 1944. Pauline enjoyed housekeeping, genealogy, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, reading, singing, and her family. She was an avid Cubs fan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jim, her son, Richard James Durgin; her parents; six sisters, Hazel (Clair Rich), Josephine (Lotus Schwartz), Mary (Jim Currie), Helen (Antone Babak), Mildred (Harold Oveson), Lorine (Titus Voss), and three brothers, William (Beulah), Henry “Dutch,” and Howard (Shirley).
