Perrussel, Havensville, Kansas, Mrs. Grace Smith, Seattle, Washington, Miss Tamar Perrussel, Mrs. Waunita Cass, Mrs. Florence Ratcliff, Mrs. Elsie Lewis and Mrs. Helen Kuehl, all of Onaga, and Levi of Battle Creek, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Perrussel were married Oct. 3, 1893, and they celebrated their 61st. wedding anniversary last October. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Millard Marshall at the Congregational Church Monday afternoon July 18, at 2 o'clock. Burial was at Neuchatel. The Onaga Herald July 21, 1955 Obituary-Mrs. J. R. Perrussel Pauline Emily Bonjour, daughter of Louise and Charles Bonjour, was born June 18, 1870 at Neuchatel, Kansas. Her parents were pioneers, coming to America from Switzerland in 1855 and 1856. During her early years she experienced many pioneer hardships. At an early age she joined the Presbyterian Church at Neuchatel and when it changed to a Congregational Church she transferred he membership to it. Later when they moved to Onaga she transferred to the Onaga church. She was the last surviving member of her family. Her parents preceded her in death also three brothers and one sister. Eugene died in October 1867, Silas in August 1873 and Charles Jr. on December 26, 1899. Her only sister, Matilda Besancon, passed away March 10, 1925. On October 3, 1893 she was married to Julius R. Perrussel at Seneca, Kansas. To this union were born eleven children. Floyd Allen died in infancy in 1897 and Vernon Lester in 1918. The surviving children: are Miss Lillian Perrussel of Havensville, Kansas; Mrs. Elsie Lewis of Onaga; Mrs. Grace Smith of Seattle, Washington; Levi Charels (sis) Perrussel of Battle Creek, Michigan, Russell Perrussel, Mrs. Waunita Cass, Miss Tamar Perrussel, Mrs. Florence Ratcliff and Mrs. Helen Kuehl all of Onaga. There are also two daughters-in-law, four sons-in-law and 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also two nephews Sam and Leonard Bonjour, several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Most of her life was spent in the Neuchatel neighborhood on the farm of her childhood home. They moved on Onaga in November 1944. She passed away at the Onaga Hospital on July 15, 1955 at the age of 85 years and 26 days.
