Pauline was born in Winner, SD on July 26, 1925 to the late William (Bill) and Amelia (Cahoy) Rysavy. She spent her childhood in the rural Winner area and graduated from Winner High School. She attended college and taught in rural Winner grade schools and was also a teacher's aide in the Winner Public School System. Pauline was born in Winner, SD on July 26, 1925 to the late William (Bill) and Amelia (Cahoy) Rysavy. She spent her childhood in the rural Winner area and graduated from Winner High School. She attended college and taught in rural Winner grade schools and was also a teacher's aide in the Winner Public School System. She was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" English on August 13, 1949 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Winner. He preceded her in death January 16, 1996. They were happily married for over 46 years. She worked by her husband's side farming and operating their own meat processing plant for over 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, ceramics and dancing. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Idle- Awhile Club, and Red Hat Society. Pauline had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Winner for many years and the St. Joseph's church in Gregory. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by daughters: Mary Anne (Bernie) Fleischacker of Columbus, NE, Jean (Mike) Cowan of Pierre, SD and Dianne Pepin of Rapid City, SD; seven grandchildren, Jodi (Jason) Harder, Niki (Eric) Jaworski, Jeremy (Angela) Pepin, Tyler Fleischacker, Matthew Pepin, Wade Fleischacker, Cody Fleischacker; great grandchild, Chloe Harder; brother, Gus (Joan) Rysavy; sister-in-law Doris Rysavy. She was preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Amelia (Cahoy) Rysavy; her husband, Richard (Dick) English; her son, Robert (Bobby) English; brothers, Richard and Don Rysavy; niece, Judy Rysavy; sister-in-law, Lorene Cahoy and brother-in-law, Leo English.
