She was born July 19, 1911, in Englevale, the daughter of William F. and Nellie V. Johnston Franklin. She married Lee O. Morrison on Dec. 14, 1927, in Iola. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1982. She also was preceded in death by a son, Garrold Morrison, in 1948. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the Nazarene in Garnett. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery in Iola. Mrs. Morrison will lie in state after 10 a.m. today at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel in Garnett where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to St. Luke's Shawnee Mission Hospice in Garnett, and sent in care of the funeral home.
