Description	:	Staley, Pauline Pauline Kembel Staley, of Billings, passed away peacefully at her home on April 16, 2006, at the age of 81. She was born in Laurel on May 20, 1925, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Kembel. She attended Laurel School and finished at Pioneer School. She worked for McKesson Robbins until she married Harry W. Staley on Feb. 27, 1944. Together, they farmed west of Billings, raising four children. Read More	Staley, Pauline Pauline Kembel Staley, of Billings, passed away peacefully at her home on April 16, 2006, at the age of 81. She was born in Laurel on May 20, 1925, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Kembel. She attended Laurel School and finished at Pioneer School. She worked for McKesson Robbins until she married Harry W. Staley on Feb. 27, 1944. Together, they farmed west of Billings, raising four children. She worked at JC Penney in Laurel and Billings, then was the cook for Elder Grove School for 20 years, retiring at the age of 75. Pauline and Harry were happily married for 45 years until his passing in 1989. Pauline had a gift and love for cooking and gardening. She had a very sharp mind and did not miss anything. As years passed, Pauline enjoyed many arts and crafts, such as quilting, making pot holders, rug hooking and more. She made it very well known how strongly she felt about the importance of family and thoroughly enjoyed the large family gatherings held each holiday. Pauline is survived by four children, Roxie (Ed) Kraft, Pam (Jim) Bromenshenk, Diane (Robert) Wise and Harry (Sue) Staley, all of Billings; sister, Mary (Doug) Lane; brothers, Raymond and Carl Kembel. Ten Grandchildren, Cori (Danny) Mydland, Lori Day, Rick (Brenda) Kraft, Kevin (Sally) Bromenshenk, LeAnn (Scott) Heitz, Stacey Wise, Bobby Wise, Nick (Robyn) Staley, Sara Staley and Bryan Staley; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, brother-in-law George (Mary) Staley; sisters-in-law Lillian Ostermiller, Helen Blackford and Evelyn (Harry) Funk. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, and her husband Harry. Pauline was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church and the Moose Lodge. Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m., at Smith's West Chapel, 304 34th St. West, with interment at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Reception following at the Moose Lodge. "We love you and you will always be in our hearts. Thank you for the many wonderful memories - Godspeed, Mom." Memorials: Big Sky Hospice, Special K Ranch or any of your choosing.
