Ms. Pauline Finneyfrock Pauline Mae Finneyfrock, 80, of Thurmont, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was married to the late Kenneth Finneyfrock Sr. who passed away in 1993. Born Jan. 9, 1925 in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Oma Ridenour Eyler. She was a member of the Thurmont United Methodist Church where she belonged to the adult Sunday school class. She also was a faithful worker in the Close Closet at the church. She was a past member of the Thurmont Senior Citizens. Pauline ran a daycare center out of her home for more than 20 years and was also employed by Mount St. Mary's at one time. She was a past Sunday school teacher at Weller's United Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed baking for others but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Pauline is survived by two sons, Ken Finneyfrock Jr. and wife Angie of Thurmont, and Jim Finneyfrock and wife Diane of Waynesboro, Pa.; three grandsons, Chris, Damion and Erik Finneyfrock; three great-grandchildren, Lily and Sadie Finneyfrock and Travas Herr. In addition to her husband Kenneth, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Downs, Grace Roberts and Doris Knott; three brothers, Mearle Eyler, Leon Eyler and Leo Eyler; and a granddaughter, Kelly Finneyfrock. The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont, on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be at the Thurmont United Methodist Church, 13880 Long Road, Thurmont, on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Fauconnet and the Rev. Raymond Kingsborough officiating. Internment will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery.
