She was born in Madison on Sept. 8, 1933, the daughter of Adolphe and Apolline (Allain) Comeau. She attended Madison schools. On June 28, 1952, she married Frank Dore, Jr. And they were married 66 years. Pauline worked as a clothing buyer and sales person in the women's department at Crane's Department Store for 20 years. She was born in Madison on Sept. 8, 1933, the daughter of Adolphe and Apolline (Allain) Comeau. She attended Madison schools. On June 28, 1952, she married Frank Dore, Jr. And they were married 66 years. Pauline worked as a clothing buyer and sales person in the women's department at Crane's Department Store for 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, bowling and especially tap dancing with the Show Stoppers after she retired. Pauline is survived by her husband of 66 years, Frank Dore, Jr. of Skowhegan; sisters, Yvonne Lessard, Alice Breingan, and Donna Bouchard all of Madison; she is remembered like a grandmother by Sherry Dubay, Andy Hopkins, Darrin LaBarge, Sr. and Darrin LaBarge, Jr; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Adolphe and Apolline Comeau; brothers, Alyre, Dan Ted and Alfred Comeau; sisters, Florida Comeau, Lorenza Boone, Viola Palmer, Alma Bagley and Joanne Kennedy. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. The family of Pauline wishes to thank Cedar Ridge Nursing Home and Hospice for their care and compassion of Pauline and her husband, Frank. A mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Sabastian Church in Madison with Father Jim Nadeau as celebrant.
