Description	:	Pauline (Pat) Voegele, 91, Beulah, died peacefully on July 6, 2004, at a Beulah care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Friday, July 9, at Zion Lutheran Church, Beulah, with Rev. John Fanella officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. MDT Thursday at Seibel Funeral Home Chapel, Beulah, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Pauline was born Jan. 10, 1913, southwest of Beulah, a daughter of Gottlieb and Paulina (Miller) Schmidt. She was raised and educated there. Being the oldest child, she was busy helping with the younger siblings, as well as working for other families. On Oct. 30, 1938, she married Ferdinand Voegele at Peace Lutheran Church, south of Beulah. They farmed the Schmidt home place from 1945 until moving into Beulah in 1973. Ferdinand died July 18, 1979. In 1998, Pat purchased a patio home in Beulah where she lived until becoming a resident of Senior Suites in Hazen in 2002. On May 28, 2004, she became a resident of Knife River Care Center, Beulah. She was a member of the Beulah Congregational Church, where she was active in the Friendly Circle and the church choir. She was an active member of the Beulah Senior Citizens where she had served as secretary for a number of years. Pat enjoyed gardening, crocheting, being a farm wife and especially sewing potholders. Pat is survived by four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Katherine Jaeger, Bismarck, Tabea and Richard Welk, rural Zap, Edna and John Galster, rural Beulah, and Gladys and Joe Harrington, Kansas City, Kan.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ferdinand; four brothers, Edwin, Albert, Reuben and Richard; and two sisters, Anne Kemmet and Ella Voegele.
