An online guest book is available at www.kernodlefh.com. ************************** Mrs. Pearl Andrews Throgmorton, age 89, went to be with the LORD on December 18, 2007. She was born June 2, 1918 in Onia, Arkansas to Benjamin and Edna Martin Woody who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Harrison Andrews in 1970 and Floyd Throgmorton in 1973, son, Jerry Andrews in 1987; sisters, Mellie Pittman in 1993, Lenora Andrews in 2003 and Willa Dean Clark in 2005; brother Leonard Woody in 2006 and son-in-law Russ Pitchford in 2004. She is survived by her sons, H. J. Andrews and wife Lydia of Tilton; Eli Andrews and wife Pat of Wynne; Ricky Andrews of Wynne; daughters, Shirley Wilson and husband Newton of Wynne, Pauline Pitchford of Van Buren; step-son, Ellis Throgmorton and wife Francis of Wynne and step-daughter Shirley Greenhill of Gillette; sister Bonnie Browning of McCrory; brother, Kenneth Woody and wife Dotsie of El Dorado, special former daughters-in-laws, Darlene, Sarah and Peggy; 29 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren 9 great great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and loved ones. Pearl was a charter member of Holt's Chapel Church of God for over 50 years and served as clerk for many years. She loved to sing and working in the yard. She was voted "Mother Of The Year" in 1992. She loved everybody and was called Aunt Pearl or Granny Pearl by many non family members. Services will be Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Kernodle Funeral Home with burial in Vanndale Cemetery with Rev. Kirk Martin and nephew Rev. Gary Andrews officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Kernodle Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holt's Chapel Church of God, Building Fund, 522 Hwy 193, Wynne, Arkansas 72396.
