Read More	Source: Stokely Funeral Home Pearl Janice Abrahams was born on May 2, 1933 to Carl and Emma (Poeschl) McReynolds in Beemer. She was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point and attended District 6 country school. After graduating from Beemer High School in 1951, Pearl earned her teaching certificate at Wayne State College. On December 26, 1951, Pearl married Norman Abrahams at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. The couple farmed and Pearl taught at District 5 country school. Pearl also spent many years as clerk with Reimer's Auction. Pearl was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the church senior choir, and the Lutheran Women's Ministry League where she served as president. In her youth, she enjoyed hunting and fishing with her dad. Pearl always had a song in heart and loved singing hymns. She loved a good card game and was always ready for a round of pitch. Her compassion for others was constant. Pearl used that trait in many aspects of her life but especially as a Hospice care provider. There was always a cup of coffee ready at her table for guests. Survivors include her children, Lawrence (Kathy) of Beemer, Glen (Karen) of West Point, and Jill (Nick) Luebbert of West Point; grandchildren, Karen (Tim) Munderloh, Robert (Kelly) Abrahams, Dustin (Robyn) Abrahams, Brian (Lizz) Abrahams, Sarah (Andy) Smith, Kayse Fields, Jason (Rachel) Luebbert, Jeff (Colton) Hemer-Luebbert, and Jon (Paige) Luebbert; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and sister-in-law, Gladys Ventris of Beemer. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; daughter, Joy Abrahams; brother, Wayne McReynolds; and sister, Opal Clowers.
