Description	:	Mrs. Pearle Fuller Horton, 88, of Sugar Grove, widow of Sam F. Horton, died Tuesday evening, June 7, at Watauga County Hospital. She was born January 14, 1890, in Louisburg to William and Cleora Marshall Fuller. She was a graduated of Appalachian State Teachers College. She was a retired educator after 40 years in the Watauga County school system, having served as principal of Cove Creek Elementary School and teacher at Cove Creek High School. Read More	Mrs. Pearle Fuller Horton, 88, of Sugar Grove, widow of Sam F. Horton, died Tuesday evening, June 7, at Watauga County Hospital. She was born January 14, 1890, in Louisburg to William and Cleora Marshall Fuller. She was a graduated of Appalachian State Teachers College. She was a retired educator after 40 years in the Watauga County school system, having served as principal of Cove Creek Elementary School and teacher at Cove Creek High School. She also taught in Louisburg and Gaffney, South Carolina. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, three sisters, one brother, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Cove Creek Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Reverends Kenneth Turbyfill and C. O. Vance. Entombment will follow in the Cove Creek Garden Mausoleum. Hampton Funeral service is in charge of the arrangements.
