Mrs. Rennaker owned and operated Peggys Country Charm Beauty Salon for many years. She was a member of the North Manchester United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, serving as chairwoman of the Missions Committee. She was a former member of the North Manchester Business and Professional Women. She was born Feb. 20, 1930, in Peru, to Melvin and Esther Ward Lauer. She was a 1948 graduate of Laketon High School. On July 1, 1951, she married Wayne E. Rennaker. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Melvin E. Rennaker, Wabash, and Craig A. Rennaker, North Manchester; a daughter, Cheryl A. Van Paris, Columbus, Ohio; and three grandchildren. Calling is from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Home, Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main St., North Manchester. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the North Manchester United Methodist Church, with Rev. William Hemmig and Rev. Carl Lemna officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Preferred memorials are to the United Methodist Missions Committee.
