Description	:	Percy D. Mohr died February 13, 2018 at Bethesda of Beresford at the age of 88 years, nine months and 16 days. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Agnes Mohr; all of his brothers and sisters; and his wife, Jane. Percy attended many schools in the Dazey and Rogers, ND area. He worked as a carpenter until he enlisted in the US Army in January 1949. Percy served in Japan and Korea from May of 1949 until June of 1952. Mohr died February 13, 2018 at Bethesda of Beresford at the age of 88 years, nine months and 16 days. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Agnes Mohr; all of his brothers and sisters; and his wife, Jane. Percy attended many schools in the Dazey and Rogers, ND area. He worked as a carpenter until he enlisted in the US Army in January 1949. Percy served in Japan and Korea from May of 1949 until June of 1952. Following his discharge from the Army he returned to work as a carpenter. During the winter of ’52-53 he worked in a flour mill in West Allis, Wisconsin then returned to being a carpenter. He married Jane Anderson of Rogers, ND on October 10, 1953. Percy and Jane moved to Sioux City, Iowa where he worked in a packing plant from Nov. 1953 until Feb. 1954. The couple moved back to Dazey, ND where he worked for his brother-in-law, Pete Bryn, from the spring of ’54 until July of 1966 when they moved to Beresford, SD. Percy worked for Fountain’s IH in Beresford, Odean’s Implement in Vermillion and Lynott’s Implement in Hawarden. Percy was a member of the Beresford Zion United Methodist Church, the Beresford VFW and American Legion and the Beresford Fire & Rescue. He enjoyed traveling, having coffee with the guys, and most of all, spending time with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
