A loving father and grandfather, Percy is survived by one son, Emerson (Edith) Jordan of Second Falls; two daughters, Clara (Charles) Chambers, Alice (David) Baldwin, all of Second Falls, NB; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Rhoda Carson of Campbellton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ralph and Gilbert. Percy was a veteran of WWII, serving overseas in England, France, Belgium and Holland with the Carleton-York Regiment. He went overseas in the fall of 1944 until victory was declared. He was a heavy-equipment operator by trade, working the last 18 years prior to his retirement with Lake Utopia Paper. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #40, St. George. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. The service will be held on Monday at 2 pm at the Second Falls Baptist Church, followed by interment in the church cemetery. A Royal Canadian Legion tribute will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 7 pm. Donations in Percy's memory to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
