Description	:	Funeral services for Perl Hazen Stone, 91, were held Saturday, August 2, at Jones Chapel in Mitchell, Nebr. Officiating at the service were Rev. Lawrence Dry and Rev. Carlyle Smith. Odd Fellows had charge of Graveside services at the Mitchell Cemetery. Mr. Stone, the father of Mrs. Bernice George, Mrs. Dorothy Carothers and Mrs. Maxine Carothers of Douglas, spent the past three years living in turn with his daughters, and was well known here. Mr. Stone, the father of Mrs. Bernice George, Mrs. Dorothy Carothers and Mrs. Maxine Carothers of Douglas, spent the past three years living in turn with his daughters, and was well known here. He came to Wyoming at the age of 11, and lived on the Cottonwood for four years before returning to Nebraska after his father died. Other survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Margaret Cox of Kansas City, Mo.; four sons, Warren of Mitchell; Hazen, Morrill, Nebr., Roger, Crystal Lake, Illinois, and John, Rocky Ford, Colo.; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. All of his children attended the funeral service. He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, two sisters, and a brother. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Hazen and Stephen George, Gerald Hoffman, Don Morris, Gary Stone, and Anthony Cox. Attending from Douglas were Mrs. Bernice George and Kristeen, Hazen and Stephen George, Mesdames Bud Carothers and Mike, George Carothers, Gerald Hoffman, Walter Whitaker, Sr., Gene Payne Sr., Don Morris of Casper, and Harold Carothers.
