Brown, was born at Fostoria, Pottawatomie County, Kansas on December 9, 1890, the oldest daughter of Frank A. and Adelia Brown, Millie graduated from Onaga High School in 1915, and from Campbell College at Holton and taught school at White Pigeon and St. Clere for several years before her marriage to George Bonjour in Onaga on June 19, 1918. Read More	Onaga Herald March 23, 1972 Obituary-Millie Bonjour Millie B. Bonjour, born Permelia S. Brown, was born at Fostoria, Pottawatomie County, Kansas on December 9, 1890, the oldest daughter of Frank A. and Adelia Brown, Millie graduated from Onaga High School in 1915, and from Campbell College at Holton and taught school at White Pigeon and St. Clere for several years before her marriage to George Bonjour in Onaga on June 19, 1918. Most of her married life was spent on the family farm at Neuchatel. Millie was active in community affairs, for many years served on the school board and as Republican Committeewoman. Her main enjoyment was teaching the adult Sunday school class at Neuchatel. Millie and George spent one year at Seneca caring for their grandchildren while their daughter was in nurse's training, then moved to Onaga in November of 1964. Both were in failing health and George passed away July 5, 1966. Millie was at Golden Acres Nursing Home for several years with the exception of 14 months spent at the home of her daughter. She suffered a stroke March 1 and was taken to the Onaga hospital where she passed away March 10 at the age of 81 years, three months and one day. Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Scott of Leavenworth; three grandchildren, Sharon Scott of Leavenworth, John Scott of Horton, and Julie Morman of Horton, one sister, Mrs. Belle Crumbaker of Manhattan; one brother Clare Brown of Sacramento, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews and many friends. Services were Sunday, March 12 at Tessendorf Chapel with the Rev. Hamlin Miller of the Seneca United Church of Christ officiating. Burial was at Neuchatel cemetery. — The Onaga Herald June 20, 1918 Brown-Bonjour. On Wednesday evening at 9 p. m. at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Brown, occurred the wedding of their daughter, Miss Millie, to Mr. George Bonjour, of Duluth, Kans. After the wedding march, which was played by Miss Rheva Bonjour, the ceremony was performed by Rev. A. C. Stewart of the M. E. church, in the presence of a few relatives and intimate friends. Mr. and Mrs. Bonjour are well and favorably known in this community where they have spent all their lives. They will be at home to their friends after July the first, in Duluth Kansas, where Mr. Bonjour is manager of the Duluth Lumber Company.
