He was married August 30, 1893, to Miss Charlotte Fitzer, who was born in Greenfield township, and they became the parents of four children, two of whom are now deceased, while the living are Hilo Fae and La Vanhe. Ethel Fern, the younger child of Perry Macklin, is with her parents. The father carries on general farming and stock raising with good success.
