Description	:	Biographical Sketch. Peter Albert WALL, was the 3rd child of Carl Johan "Charlie" WALL and his wife Christina Sofia "Sophia" STAHRE. He was probably born in his parent's farmhouse near South Prairie, Twp., 9 North, Range 4 West, Henderson Co., Illinois, although most records show that he was born in Biggsville, Henderson Co., Illinois. When he was about 3 years old his parents moved from the farm near South Prairie, to Raritan, Henderson Co., Illinois. Peter Albert WALL, was the 3rd child of Carl Johan "Charlie" WALL and his wife Christina Sofia "Sophia" STAHRE. He was probably born in his parent's farmhouse near South Prairie, Twp., 9 North, Range 4 West, Henderson Co., Illinois, although most records show that he was born in Biggsville, Henderson Co., Illinois. When he was about 3 years old his parents moved from the farm near South Prairie, to Raritan, Henderson Co., Illinois. By 30 May 1875, he had moved with his parents to the family farm in Twp. 71 North, Range 37 West, Section: 8 of Scott Twp., Montgomery Co., Iowa. Before 9 September 1894, he had left home and was living in Fullerton, Nance Co., Nebraska where he married Anna Margaret SANDBER. They rented some farmland in Beaver Precinct, Nance Co., Nebraska and it was here that their first six children were born. Sometime between 27 June 1900 and 10 May 1910, he had move the family from Nebraska to Apple Creek Twp., Burleigh Co., North Dakota and had purchased a farm in Twp., 138 North, Range 79 West. It was here that their last two children were born. About 1913, he and his wife moved the family from North Dakota to a homestead that they purchased located about 14 miles northeast of Roundup, Musselshell Co., Montana, in Twp., 10 North, Range 26 East, Section 32. This is where he spent the rest of his life, until his death December 18, 1924. Source: Various documents and resources compiled by and in the possession of Daniel Frederick Wall, his grandson. ---------------------------------------- ALBERT WALL DIES OF HEART FAILURE WELL KNOWN FARMER PASSES AWAY WHILE SITTING IN CHAIR Peter Albert WALL, well known farmer residing 14 miles northeast of Roundup, died suddenly while sitting in a chair shortly after arising yesterday morning. Death was due to heart trouble. Mr. WALL had apparently been in good health, but had complained of a pain in his chest during the night. A short time after one of his sons had started a fire yesterday morning he had gotten out of bed and was sitting in a chair by the stove when death came without warning. Mr. WALL was 56 years of age, having been born in Illinois on February 4, 1869. He came here 11 years ago and settled on the farm where he has made his home ever since. He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. BAKER of Roundup, Mrs. L. E. WILLIAMS of Billings, Eunice and Myrle, who are at home, and four sons, Arthur, DAVIS, Albert and ARNOLD, all of this place with the exception of the last named who is at present visiting at Centralia, Wash. There are also two sisters, Mrs. Mary Watson, of Stanton, Iowa, and Mrs. Ida LUNN of Genoa, Neb., and two brothers, Henry and Arthur, both of Genoa, Neb. Funeral Services will be held at the Acton chapel Monday afternoon and interment will be made in the city cemetery.
