He was 55 years of age at the time of his death. Mr. Brosseau had been ill for several months as a result of accidentally swallowing some acid. Pete Brosseau, as he was generally known by his friends, was born June 15, 1880, at Aurora, Kansas and was 55 years, 9 months and 3 days old. He was the son of Victor and Adelina Brosseau. November 25, 1902, he was married to Grace Courville, and to this union two children were born, Irene Bethel of the home and Margie Brosseau of Omaha, Nebr. The family had made their home in Concordia continuously with the exception of two years spent in Salina, at which time Mr. Brosseau was employed on the police force. A number of years ago, Mr. Brosseau built the Gather Inn Dance pavilion, which he operated until recently when it was leased to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Before his recent illness he was employed by the city. Surviving Mr. Brosseau are his widow: two daughters, Irene Bethel of the home and Margie Brosseau, of Omaha, Nebr.; one granddaughter, Vivian Bethel; three sisters, Mrs. Dave Goodreau, Concordia; Mrs. Charles Creagor, Snyder, Colo.; and Mrs. Tom Betters, Portland, Oregon; and four brothers, Zeph, Concordia; Victor, Arthur and Ishmel, of Aurora, Oreg. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o’clock from the Catholic Church here and burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery.
