He had been in the hospital about a week and death resulted from a stomach ailment. With him when death came was all members of his family and a brother from Wapato, WA. He was born Dec. 27 1877 in Belgium and married Leona Pratt in Belgium in 1899. The family first came to the United States in 1903 residing in Detroit, Mich., for one year before returning to Belgium. In 1906 they returned to the United States, residing in Philadelphia, PA for a short time. In the same year they moved to Corona, Kansas and in 1916 the family moved to the Clarks Fork Valley. Mr. Delamonica was a member of the Catholic church at Bridger. In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons, George and Leopold Delamonica of Bridger; a daughter Mrs. Mary DeRudder of Bridger; two brothers, August and Frank Delamonica, both of Wapato, Wash., and a sister residing in Belgium. Solemn requiem high mass was held in the Catholic church in Bridger Wednesday morning with the Rev. Henry B. Pratschner officiating. Burial was in the Bridger cemetery. Pallbearers were Lawrence Bauwens, Alfons Croes, August Descheemaecker, Leo Hendricks, August Mathys and Raimy DeSaveur.
