"Petro Efimovich Bogdanov, born in 1861 in a village New Saratovky, Elizabeth Polsky Province. He was from a big poor family. He had 8 brothers and no sisters. His father, was a wheat grower. But Grandfather was a shoemaker. He was not a well man, so he was not able to do the heavy work that is required to work in the field. Grandmother's name was Anna Trafimovna Loskutov. She was born in the same town that Grandfather was born in 1866. Grandmother was a good homemaker and also a good cook. She worried a lot about house chores and working in the fields. After the Russian and Turkish war in 18787, they moved to Kars territory and lived in New Salem. They emigrated to America in 1907. They lived in Potter Valley, CA for several years. They finally moved to San Francisco, CA and lived there until they died in 1919. They had 4 children: 2 sons and 2 daughters."
