Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Reformed Church and the Rev. Clarence Greving officiated. Burial was in the Nassau Township Cemetery near Alton under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City. Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Reformed Church and the Rev. Clarence Greving officiated. Burial was in the Nassau Township Cemetery near Alton under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City. Mr. Vander Wilt was born May 21, 1915, in Boyden and married Florence Rienstra on September 17, 1945, in Orange City. He was an implement mechanic for 32 years and served in World War II. He was a member of the First Reformed Church and was serving on the church board at the time of his death. He was treasurer of the church's benevolent fund. Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Cliff (Audrey) Vander Zwagg of Orange City, Mrs. Kenn (Janice) Top of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Greg (Lila) Oldenkamp of Hospers, Iowa; three sons, Gary of Aplington and Darrell and Peter Jr., both of Alton; eight grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Kosters of orange City; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Arta) Plender of Orange City and Mrs. Julius (Anna Mae) Siebersma of Coal City, Ill., and a brother, Clifford of Phoenix, Ariz.
