Description	:	Peter G. Parquette, 47, of Livermore Falls died unexpectedly at his home on Oct. 25, 2008. He was born in Augusta on Dec. 29, 1960, the son of Frank and Sharon (Smith) Parquette. He attended Cony High School and graduated from Gardiner Area High School in 1979. He served four years in the Air Force and was discharged in 1986. He was employed by Nation Paving and prior to that had been employed for several years by Olive Garden and DiMillo's Floating Restaurant in Portland. Peter was a kind and loving soul who reached out... Read More	Peter G. Parquette, 47, of Livermore Falls died unexpectedly at his home on Oct. 25, 2008. He was born in Augusta on Dec. 29, 1960, the son of Frank and Sharon (Smith) Parquette. He attended Cony High School and graduated from Gardiner Area High School in 1979. He served four years in the Air Force and was discharged in 1986. He was employed by Nation Paving and prior to that had been employed for several years by Olive Garden and DiMillo's Floating Restaurant in Portland. Peter was a kind and loving soul who reached out to those in need and was always willing to lend a hand. He will be sadly missed by those who knew him. He was predeceased by his mother, Sharon Parquette, on Jan. 16, 2007, and a brother, William Edward "Bill" Parquette. Survivors include his father, Frank F. Parquette, of Augusta; a son, Quincy A. Parquette; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Parquette and Naomi Ruth Parquette, all of Merritt Island, Fla.; a brother, Jeffrey Scott Parquette and his wife, Feleicia, of Norridgewock; two sisters, Theresa "Terry" Griswold, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Katie Smith and her husband, Kyle, of West Gardiner; four grandchildren, Dominic Allred, Elizah Allred, Naomi Parquette and Tatyanna Parquette; three nieces, Justine and Rachael Griswold, and Ava Parquette; and four nephews, Ryan Cunningham, Kaleb and Keegan Smith, and Jeffrey Parquette. There will be a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the family lot St. Mary's Cemetery, Pelton Hill, Manchester. (Kennebec Journal Oct. 29, 2008)
