There Peter was a successful farmer and they had 9 children: George Herman; William John; an unnamed infant son; Mary Elizabeth who married Charles Boyd Black; Frank Peter; Walter Joseph; Emma Louise who married John Elledge; Louise Bertha who married Stanley Johnson; and Ida. Peter died in Rogers, Colfax, Nebraska 14 April 1947, 84 years of age.
