Description	:	Peter Huseth (90) died Saturday, November 22. He was born November 5, 1885 at Hallingdal, Norway to Nils and Margit (Braaten) Huseth. He came with his parents to the U.S. and to Kindred when he was seven years old. The family later lived at Colfax and moved to McLeod in 1903. Peter married Lena Johnson in 1912 and she died in 1919. Read More	Peter Huseth (90) died Saturday, November 22. He was born November 5, 1885 at Hallingdal, Norway to Nils and Margit (Braaten) Huseth. He came with his parents to the U.S. and to Kindred when he was seven years old. The family later lived at Colfax and moved to McLeod in 1903. Peter married Lena Johnson in 1912 and she died in 1919. He married Mary Pederson October 25, 1922. The couple farmed in Freeman township until 1966 when they moved to Wyndmere. Mary died January 25, 1973. Shortly after that he became a resident of St. Francis Home in Breckenridge, MN. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Concordia College C400 Club, and was one of the organizers of the Sheyenne Valley Grazing Association. He had served as a director of the McLeod Telephone Co., as a township officer, as a member of the Freeman Cemetery Association and as a member of the Freeman Township School Board. Survivors are six sons: Norman of Wahpeton, Bennie, Herbert and Irvin of McLeod, Marvin of Westminster, CA, and Allan of Menomonie Falls, WI; two daughters, Mrs. George (Lois) Zentgraf of Roma, TX, and Mrs. Charles (Pearl) Taylor of Tarzana, CA; three sisters: Mrs. Otto (Randi) Trapp and Mrs. Henry (Inga) Johnson of Fargo, and Mrs. Martin (Gerda) Engen of Kindred, ND.; and three brothers: Oscar of Clinton, MN, Nelius of Sunnymead, CA, and Carl of Wyndmere, ND. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, two brothers and one sister. The funeral for Mr. Huseth will be Tuesday, at 2:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, rural Wyndmere, Rev. Waldemar Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Freeman Cemetery, McLeod. Casket bearers will be Mr. Huseth's six sons. Honorary Casket bearers - "All Who Called Him Friend." Organist will be Ms. Arlington Mitskog and special music will be provided by Kenneth Braaten.
