He is survived by his wife, five sons, Frank and Joseph of Lincoln, John of O'Neill, Nebr., George of Denver, and Charles of Colorado Springs, Colo; three brothers, Nicholas Mueller of Stanton, Texas, William of Summerfield, Kansas, and Joseph of Table Rock; four sisters, Mary of Layfayette, Ind., Mrs. Frank, Scheller of Ellensburg, Wash., Mrs. John Clerf of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Henry Clerf of Seattle. Funeral services were held at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Francis's Church, Thirty-sixth and J streets, with Rev. D. P. Cullough officiating. Interment in Calvary. The pallbearers: John A. Maguire, Dr. M. J. Kelley, T. M. Blockwitz, John M. McCullough, George Ryan and Valentino Krieg. Mr. Mueller cane to Nebraska in the sixties, and located with his parents on a farm northeast of town. He was untied in marriage to Mary McBride, and together they established a farm home, which they occupied for many years. Mr. Mueller was a successful farmer and stockman. About twenty years ago he retired from the farm and moved to Denver, where they lived for a couple of years and then returned to Table Rock for a short time, and finally moved to Lincoln where he died. He had the esteem of his neighbors and all who knew him, and his passing brings sorrow among his old Table Rock friends. He was a member of the Catholic church and one of the founders of the Catholic church in Table Rock, and lived a life consistent with his religion, being generous, honest in all his dealings with his fellowmen. As a husband and father he was loving and tender, and as a citizen, patriotic and public minded. (Posted courtesy of the Table Rock Historical Society, Table Rock, Nebr.)
