Description	:	PIONEER RESIDENT OF SPRING BUTTE PASSES Peter Nimbar, one of the pioneer homesteaders of the Spring Butte community, passed away early Monday morning, October 28, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emery Lane, death being due to the infirmities of old age. Read More	PIONEER RESIDENT OF SPRING BUTTE PASSES Peter Nimbar, one of the pioneer homesteaders of the Spring Butte community, passed away early Monday morning, October 28, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emery Lane, death being due to the infirmities of old age. Mr. Nimbar was born in Milwaukee, Wis., April 6, 1850. His boyhood was spent in Milwaukee and around Kildare. Some time later he went to Mauston, Wis., where he was married to Clara Lawrence on July 6, 1870. In 1908 the family came west and resided on a homestead nine miles north of Lemmon, in Spring Butte township, Adams county, North Dakota. There he resided until 1913 when he suffered a parslotic stroke and from that time has been crippled. Ten children are left to mourn his death. His wife preceded him in death on February 22, 1927. Those surviving relatives include: Mrs. L. R. Dayton, Mrs. Emery Lane of Lemmon; L. P. Nimbar, Mrs. L. O. Young of Miles City, Mont., Roy Nimbar of Mobridge, Mrs. N. E. Rounds of Madison, S.D., Mrs. Charles Koepp, of Winner, S.D., E. J. Nimbar of Withee, Wis., Mrs. John Miller of Kekoosa, Wis.,and Mrs. R. B. Bartlett of Backus, Minn. Twenty-nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren also survive. He was a kind and loving father and will be greatly missed by his children and the many friends who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at the Evanson Funeral Home, with Rev. Geo. W. Hoover officiating. Internment will be made in the Lemmon cemetery.
