Description	:	Peter Rohman died at his home a few miles west of St. Paul on Monday, April 13, aged 56 years and 9 days. A lingering disease somewhat akin to consumption had preyed upon his constitution for a long time and so weakened it that the final attack ended very suddenly in death. He was on the streets of st. Read More	Peter Rohman died at his home a few miles west of St. Paul on Monday, April 13, aged 56 years and 9 days. A lingering disease somewhat akin to consumption had preyed upon his constitution for a long time and so weakened it that the final attack ended very suddenly in death. He was on the streets of st. Paul only a few days ago, apparently as well as usual. The news of his demise was a sad surprise to his many friends in this vicinity. Mr. Rohman was born in Byer, Germany, and at the age of 7 years emigrated to America. Much of his life was spent near Peoria in Woodford county, Illinois. In 1894 he removed to Nebraska and has ever since made his home on a farm near St. Paul. He was the father of seven children - five boys and two girls, all of whom with their mother survive him. The three oldest are married: Mrs. N. B. Johnson resides in Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Robert Crow and John Rohman in this county. The younger children are all at home. The funeral was held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Catholic church in this city, Rev. Joseph Macourek officiating. The remains were interred in the St. Paul Catholic cemetery. Mr. Rohman was a quiet, unassuming man who had won high esteem from his neighbors and all with whom he came in contact. To the bereaved family sincere sympathy is extended by their many friends.
