Description	:	PETER WILLIAM MOHR Born July 24, near Ebersberger in the province of Schleswig, Germany, in the year 1870 he emigrated to the United States of America and landed in Sabin, Ia. In 1876 he went with his brother, Fred Mohr to Sac county, Iowa, and continued to farm in 1881. The year 1885 he was united in marriage to Augusta Putbrese. To this union were born 8 children, six sons and two daughters. The sons names are Herman, William, Otto, Edward, Hans and Paul Mohr, the daughters, Mrs. Mattie Fiedler and Mrs. Laura Werts.... In 1876 he went with his brother, Fred Mohr to Sac county, Iowa, and continued to farm in 1881. The year 1885 he was united in marriage to Augusta Putbrese. To this union were born 8 children, six sons and two daughters. The sons names are Herman, William, Otto, Edward, Hans and Paul Mohr, the daughters, Mrs. Mattie Fiedler and Mrs. Laura Werts. Mrs. Peter W. Mohr died the third day of August, 1899, and on Oct. 10, 1902 he was remarried to Mrs. Laura I. Barnes. In the year 1910 he moved to Clay County, Iowa, south of Spencer, farmed there four years. In June 15, 1915, he moved to Spencer. In June 7, 1937, his wife died and he has been living in Spencer the rest of his days. He has one brother living, Hans O. Mohr, near Auburn, Iowa. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Cobb-Warner Funeral chapel and further services were held Thursday at 2 p.m., Ulmer, Iowa, and interment in the cemetery near Ulmer.
