In Testimony where the said witnesses have hereunto set their hands and seals this 30th day of August 1831. Ohio Will Book 2, pg. 317 The State of Ohio Fairfield County, SS: At a special court of common pleas holden at Lancaster in and for said County on the 7th day of September AD 1831 present Jacob D. Deitrick Elnath Scofield and John Chaney Esqrs. the associate Judges of said court the noncu - prtive [hard to interpret] will of Peter Dunkle late of said County, decd., is this day produced in court and Margaret Stump and Mary Hartman the witnesses thereto being duly sworn saith that the said will was committed to writing eight days after the making and speaking thereof by the decedent in their hearing that he was in his proper senses at the time and charged them to notice the words spoken as his will and that they subscribed their names to said will when reduced to writing on which the will is ordered to be recorded and that Elizabeth, the executrix named in said will, give bond in the sum of $100 with James Wright and John Dresbach as security. The Bond having been given and the executrix qualified. Attest Hugh Boyle, Clk.
