Madlom's Body To Arrive Friday Edgewood, la .— Prayer services for Floyd M. Madlom, who died on Jan . 22, 1945, of wounds received in action, will be held Sunday afternoon at the Rhines funeral home. His body, originally interred in Luxemburg, is expected to arrive here Friday, when it will be taken to the funeral home. He was born in Cedar Rapids. The family moved to Edgewood when he was young, and he remained here until he enlisted at 18 on Aug. 2, 1941. He served in Puerto Rico, then in England and continental Europe. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Barnes; two brothers, Joe and Eugene, both of Edgewood; two sisters, Mrs. Douglas (Eva) Newkirk, of Waterloo, and Mrs. P. J. (Betty ) Hildebrandt, of Pennsylvania; a half sister, Irene Barnes, of Edgewood; and two half brothers, Harvey and George Barnes, both of Edgewood. His father, Albert Madlom, died in 1924. Suggested edit: Don't know where middle name " Morris " comes from. Draft registration which are usually correct has his middle name "Maurice."
