Case Hospital for treatment . They were: Shirley Brewer, 23, 210 Wallace St., Marion; Edward Douglas, 30, and his wife, Margaret, 26. both of Richwood; Jack Gibson, brother of the driver, of Richwood; and Lloyd Hamilton, of Richwood. Their injuries were not of a critical nature. Officers report Gibson's auto failed to negotiate a curve and careened off the side of the road about 126 feet before it struck a tree. It glanced off of one tree, skidded into another, was hurled into the air and hit a third tree four feet above the ground. The car was demolished. Gene Lee Gibson, 21, of Route 3 died Sunday, October 21 at 12 a. m. following an auto accident in Delaware County. He was an employee of the Huber Warco Plant in Marion and was a member of Essex Methodist Church. Born July 25, 1935 in Marion County, he was a son of Grear Gibson and Ruth Cramer Gibson.His father died in 1949. Gene was discharged from the U. S. Army June 7, 1956, after serving two years. Surviving besides the mother," are four sisters, Norma Carpenter, Richwood; Opal Bisel, Mansfield; Betty Daniels, Lima; and Anna Mae James, Richwood ,and five brothers, Richard, Arthur, Jack Darell and Bill Gibson, all of Richwood. Two brothers are deceased. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Ballinger Funeral Home, conducted by Rev.- Jerry Worthan of the Essex Methodist Church. Burial was made in Hale cemetery, Mt. Victory, Ohio.
