His father, David R. and one sister, Mildred, had preceded him in death. He leaves to morn his passing his mother, Mrs. D. R. Gould of York, Nebr; four sisters, Mrs. Wm. H. Woolcott of Plattsmouth, Mrs. Hugh McNiff of Lincoln, Mrs. A. R. Almagren of Omaha, Mrs. Kenneth Miller of Hawarden, Iowa, and two brothers, Louis E. of Blair, Nebr., and Walter G. of Los Angeles, Calif., aunts and uncles, Mr and Mrs. C. R. Northrup, Mr and Mrs A. B. Gould, W. E. Gould, three nieces, ten nephews and many other relatives. Phillip had made his home most of his life at York and vicinity and of late years had been employed on government projects out of Omaha. He was well liked by every one who knew him and will be greatly missed by friends and relatives alike. The funeral services were held at St Joseph's Catholic church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thos. Cullen and Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mandeville officiating. Miss Mary Moskwinski sang several of the well loved hymns during the mass. Msgr. Cullen spoke on the "Value of Your Soul" and gave words of consolation to the family. Msgr. Mandeville expressed his sympathy to the bereaved ones. The pallbearers were Wm. Woolcott, Jr., Richard McNiff, Frank Curran, Jerome McCoy, Francis Rea and Charles Neville. Burial services at St. Joesph's cemetery were conducted by Rt. Rev. Msgr.
