Description	:	Philip died of typhoid fever in 1824 and was buried in the Fansher cemetery on the hill. Son of David and Elizabeth (Bellinger) Fansher. The Fansher family history by Fred E Fansher published in 1973 states: "Tragedy struck the little settlement later that summer. The only fresh water supply was from a spring in the side of the hill which turned out to be impure and the father and three children contracted Typhoid.
