McCook dies; rites here tomorrow Phillip Fraser McCook, 70, a native of Gainesville and resident of St. Petersburg who for 35 years was a conductor on the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, died yesterday in St. Petersburg of an acute illness. McCook, who attended public schools here and the east Florida Seminary, was general chairman for the Brotherhood of Railwaymen for 15 years. Turbeville. They are requested to meet at the chapel at 2:45 p.m. McCook was born July 8, 1882, the son of the late McKindree and Alma McCook. He was married at Manistee, Ala. on Dec. 25, 1906, to Miss Ada Banks, who surivives him. Other survivors include a daughter, Miss Sarah McCook of St. Petersburg, and two sisters, Mrs. V. V. Worthington, Tampa and Mrs. C. F. Goodman, Miami. He was a member of the Methodist CHurch and the Woodmen of the World.
